In 2020, Dodgers star (and part-time professional bowler) Mookie Betts bought a home in Los Angeles from UCLA head football coach Chip Kelly for $7.6 million.
Three years later, he is selling the roomy 9-bedroom abode for $9.995 million.
Betts, who so far in his Major League Baseball career has earned close to $90 million, is in the midst of a 12-year, $356 million contract with the Dodgers that will see him earn between $8 million and $19 million every year until 2044.
That’s right. After his contract expires in 2032, the Dodgers will still be paying Mookie Betts a total of $115 million from 2033 to 2044
So, it’s pretty obvious money really isn’t an issue for him.
