The one thing that we can be certain of when it comes to the wild rap beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar that’s been unfolding over the past few weeks: everyone has an opinion on who they think is winning, including Naomi Osaka.

The beef really got kicked into another gear when Drake, with the help of AI versions of Tupac and Snoop Dogg, dropped the diss track “Taylor Made” with shots at Kendrick Lamar midway through April.

Then, a little over a week ago, Lamar released a new song titled “Euphoria.”

Those songs were then followed in short order by “6:16 in LA” by Kendrick, “Family Matters” by Drake, “Meet the Grahams” and “Not Like Us” by Lamar, and then “The Heart Part 6” by Drake.

Topics touched on in the assortment of diss tracks included everything from having a secret daughter the world does not know about and a prescription for Ozempic to Millie Bobby Brown and a Chinese restaurant named New Ho King.

Depending on who you ask, a case can be made for both rappers as far as who is winning their feud thus far.

Unless you ask tennis star Naomi Osaka, which someone did during her media session at the Italian Open taking place in Rome this week and next.

After a big sigh, Osaka said with a grin, “You know, I’m a pacifist. I’m a neutral party, but, however, Kendrick dropped some heat, that last song? That last song is amazing and I played it walking onto the court so currently I think Kendrick’s doing a good job.”

Naomi Osaka was then asked a follow-up question: “Do you think Kendrick should drop another song?”

“Yeah,” Osaka quickly replied with a nod. “Yeah, sorry.”

“You want to pile on?” the reporter then asked. “Like, why do you, why?”

“But okay, but technically though, Kendrick dropped that song and then Drake dropped ‘The Heart Part 6.’ So, technically, Kendrick could drop another two if he wanted to and me being a Kendrick fan, I haven’t gotten this many Kendrick songs in a very long time,” Osaka replied with a giggle.

“So, you know, if he wants to keep dropping…” she continued with a nod of her head.

Nailed it.
