Napoli Superstar Victor Osimhen Reveals He’s Decided His Next Step In His Career

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is one of the most coveted players in all of world soccer.

The 25-year-old Nigerian was the leading scorer in Italy’s Serie A a year ago and helped Napoli to its first Scudetto since 1990.

But the Italian champions are unlikely to keep hold of Osimhen for long, as the world’s biggest (and most importantly, wealthiest) clubs have come calling.

Premier League sides Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United have all been linked with a move for Osimhen. But up until this point, Napoli have managed to fend off all suitors.

That may not be the case for much longer, however, as Osimhen revealed on Tuesday that he’s already decided the next step in his career.

“At the end of the season, I think I already made up my mind,” Osimhen told CBS Sports. “I already know what I wanna do with my career, since I’ve started, I’ve been the one taking my own decision and everything is working out well for me. Even though when I started it, it didn’t go so well as planned. But I already have my plan, I already know what I want to do, the next step I want to take. So for now I just want to finish the season strong, go relax somewhere with my daughter, and then finally come up with the decision I’ve already made.”

Victor Osimhen Hints At Move To Premier League Club

Will that next step involve the Premier League? Osimhen didn’t shoot it down.

“I think 60% of everyone are arguing, or the rumor is going around about me linked the Premier League,” he said. “But…when you are one of the hottest striker in the globe, you play this type of thing. Of course, EPL is one of the biggest leagues in the whole world. Now I’m with Napoli, I signed a new contract, I’m enjoying my time there, going through it with the team.”

Whichever side Osimhen chooses will have to pay a pretty penny.

The superstar striker recentlysigned a new deal with the Italian side until 2026 which includes a release clause of around $143 million.
