The opening night matchups for the coming NBA season will include a matchup between the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers.

The two teams have had some beef brewing since they met in last season’s Western Conference Finals.

We are still a couple of months away from the start of the next NBA season, but basketball fans are already being given something to look forward to when the league returns.

The first two matchups of the upcoming NBA season have been revealed and one of them is going to feature a developing rivalry in the Western Conference.

According to NBA Insider Shams Charania, the NBA’s 2023-24 schedule will open with a rematch of last season’s Western Conference Finals between the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers.

There has been a lot of bad blood developing between the Nuggets and Lakers since the start of their Western Conference Finals series.

It started with some comments made by Nuggets head coach Mike Malone over the course of the series. It continued all the way up to Malone trolling LeBron James during the Nuggets’ championship parade.

The beef between the two teams has even reached the point that LeBron James is reportedly using it as motivation for next season.

Now the two teams will get a chance early in the season to take early command of the rivalry for the year.

They’ll be joined on the night by a matchup between a couple of other teams that will likely figure in the title picture.

The second matchup of the knight will be between the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors.

It should be an exciting night in the NBA as the Denver Nuggets start their defense of the first title in franchise history.
