Kentucky head basketball coach John Calipari was called out by a neighbor for not returning their weedeater. The accuser trolled Coach Cal in the most creative of ways.

They posted a slight jab in a Zillow ad online, noting both the proximity of the home to Calipari’s house and the head coach’s inability to give back borrowed supplies.

It started out as your typical advertisement for a home listed in the Lexington area. The 1929 build boasts four bedrooms and three bathrooms while being located in a historic Kentucky district. Perks include a library, closeness to both UK and downtown, and, of course, being able to call yourself a neighbor of the state’s most prominent figure.

Well, maybe that last part isn’t as desirable as it sounds.

“UK fans,” the last line reads. “This house is close enough for Coach Calipari to borrow your weedeater but apparently too far for him to return it.”

Followers began hilariously commenting on the listing online.

“Bad neighbor behavior!”

“That alone should get this house sold.”

“Who thinks Cal does his own yardwork?”

“He doesn’t know how to use one!”

Imagine having to track down Coach Cal to ask for your yard tools back. I mean, this should be well-known proper neighbor etiquette. Apparently not!

When not stealing weedeaters, Calipari is leading the Kentucky basketball team. The 2023 season is nearly upon us as he looks to get the ‘Cats back to the NCAA Tournament.

Another early exit will land him more than just an angry neighbor.
