On Monday, Michael Jordan addressed the police shootings of African-Americans stating that he “can no longer stay silent” on the issue.
His comments made headlines around the world, including the southeastern African country of Malawi, where one newspaper mistakenly used the Crying Jordan meme while reporting on the story.

I’m convinced that in 10 years people will have forgotten about Michael Jordan’s greatness on the basketball court and he will forever be known as the dude crying in that popular Internet meme.
