The NFL is already being scrutinized over the changes they’re attempting to make to the Thursday Night Football games.

Now, it appears football fans are torching Mike Florio for a prediction he’s made about the league’s possible schedule change.

Reports suggest the NFL is attempting to flex Thursday night games, while also pushing to have two games per season for each team in that slate.

Patrick Mahomes and Marquez Valdes-Scantling have already shared their complaints about the league’s decisions.

The league’s objective is to make as much money as possible, as is the case for all businesses. With that in mind, Mike Florio makes a prediction about the possible direction the NFL is heading.

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Florio predicts the league will feature a primetime game seven days a week, “sooner, rather than later.”

Look, I love football as much as the next guy, but a primetime game every day of the week is a bit much. When do the players have a chance to recoup and recover?

It’s unknown if the NFL actually wants to head in that direction, as this is simply a prediction from Florio. Even so, football fans are letting him have it.

Football fans rarely ever agree with Mike Florio.

Level 100 sarcasm.

This is the part Florio never mentions. His reasoning is for his own enjoyment. The players are an afterthought.

For now, the NFL will likely make some slight tweaks to the Thursday night slate. Hopefully, Mike Florio’s prediction never comes true.
