In the sixth grade, I was obsessed with drawing NFL logos. I’d spend hours painstakingly recreating every NFL team by staring at each design and doing my best to recreate each logo. My favorite NFL logos to draw were the Vikings and Raiders even though they were both impossible to perfect.
If I didn’t have the explain in front of my face, I’m not sure I could draw most of the NFL team logos from memory. Few people can, as is painfully obvious from this experiment by the people over at Signs.com.
“While an average of 15 million people tuned into the first six weeks of the 2017 NFL season and over 111 million people watched Super Bowl LI – there’s one thing each team has in common, and it’s the same thing that sets them apart: their logos.
Considering how important the NFL and its teams are to millions of people, we asked over 150 people to draw 12 of the most popular team logos from memory. With nothing to go off of but their own recollection, we wanted to know just how well these sports icons stand out in the mind of NFL fans and non-fans alike. Here’s what they showed us.”
Among the NFL recreations are the Bears, Falcons, Eagles and my beloved (to draw) Vikings. Here are the hilarious results, and keep in mind, this is the work of grown adults.
We can forgive the Falcons and Bears depictions because those aren’t the easiest logos to recreate but how do you screw up the Bears and Packers? They’re just letters for Christ’s sake!! You can’t draw a damn C?!?!
