Now that Tom Brady has finally retired after 23 NFL seasons, more and more former teammates and coaches are opening up with untold stories about the career of the Greatest of All-Time.

Running back LeGarrette Blount played under head coach Bill Belichick alongside Brady from 2013 to 2016 and as his last name might suggested, he’s not exactly subtle. During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday of Super Bowl week, Blount shared a couple of stories about the inner-workings of the Patriots Way. One of the stories is about how Tom Brady wanted to be treated the same as everybody else and was willing to let Belichick rip him apart if front of the 53-man roster.

“When I got to New England, I immediately knew the respect level for Tom was high.” Blount said, “The first time I heard him yell at him, he had a wide-open guy running down the sidelines and he missed him.”, “Bill basically said if you’re the best quarterback, like all these people walking around sucking you off… there are 100 other football players and college guys, and high-school guys that make that throw.”

Blount then finished his story by saying he learned an important lesson: “Once I’ve seen that, I was like ‘Oh sh-t’, alright, no one is exempt from this considering he just talked to 12 in that manner.”
