Ohio State and Penn State will face off in a Top 10 showdown this Saturday, and the ticket prices reflect that. It will cost fans anywhere from $240 to more than $1,000 to attend.

The Buckeyes will host the Nittany Lions this weekend with both teams undefeated. It very well could decide which team represents the division in the Big Ten Championship Game, though Michigan also sits at 6-0 to this point.

Anticipation is at a high for the matchup with College GameDay headed to town, but while many are excited to see the conference powers duke it out on the field, there have been complaints.

Most were furious to see a noon kickoff, with fans hoping to instead watch the matchup in primetime.

Now, another grievance has come about.

Those looking to attend the contest aren’t happy with the ticket prices, which are sky high at the start of the week. TicketMaster has the lowest prices for a group of two starting at $240 each. StubHub’s pricing is the same, and that cost only gets you a nosebleed seat.

Those looking to sit closer to the action will have to open up their wallets. OutKick referenced the crazy expensive costs in a social media post Monday. They say the average ticket price for this Ohio State-Penn State meeting is more than $750.

Fans have been quick to comment online.

“Ya. No thanks,” said one follower.

“The couch is free,” quipped another.

“Nope. I’d rather sit on the 50 yd line in my living room,” wrote someone else echoing that sentiment.

This fan noted the increasing costs of a stay in Columbus on this gameday weekend, saying, “Hotels are crazy expensive, too.”

The Penn State-Ohio State game will certainly be the most anticipated of the upcoming slate, but you’ll have to pay to see it in person.
