Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo are one of the NFL’s power couples, and on Friday, she filled followers in on some Super Bowl plans ahead of the 49ers’ matchup with the Chiefs.
She’s surprised her soon-to-be mother in-law with a suite for the big game. Culpo let the secret slip on social media in response to comments made by Lisa McCaffrey.
Lisa made an interesting comment on the topic of high costs for Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas. Ticket prices are setting NFL records with the get-in price sitting just south of $6,000.
Some have said it’s due to the game’s location, as Sin City will draw out of market buyers to an Allegiant Stadium that ranks as one of the smallest in capacity. Demand is at an all-time high, and the celebrities expected to be on-hand will only continue to drive those costs up!
And suites are even pricier!
Taylor Swift, of course, headlines that guest list, and the Chiefs are hoping her presence makes a difference on the field.
The 49ers will have their cheering section, too, though that might not always have been the case!
Lisa McCaffrey said that even her family couldn’t afford to sit in the luxury boxes, which are selling for prices up to $2.5 million.
“We looked into a suite and none of us can afford it,” she said to co-host Ashley Adamson on her Your Mom podcast. “Not even Christian, moneybags over there nor moneybags Olivia.”

Olivia Culpo surprises Lisa McCaffrey with Super Bowl suite
The model came to her mother in-law’s rescue Friday, informing Lisa that she’d purchased a suite for Super Bowl Sunday. What she spent isn’t known, but those boxes range from $300K to $2.5M.

Culpo posted the news on her Instagram story, saying, “Fake news! Happy Birthday, Lisa. I bought you a suite.”
Now everyone can watch Christian McCaffrey as he looks to land his first ever Lombardi trophy!
The tailback’s fiancé has been with him every step of the way this year, making appearances at Levi’s Stadium all season long. That includes in the playoffs, where she’s been spotted rooting on the team over the course of this postseason run.
