Offensive lineman Olu Fashanu was selected with the 11th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Penn State product will suit up for the Jets next season where he’ll hope to keep quarterback Aaron Rodgers upright.
While it was Fashanu’s night to celebrate, it was his mother who stole the show during the family watch party. She was seen boxing out the big man’s girlfriend on the couch, showing that the lineman really got his talent firsthand!
Fashanu watched from the comfort of his own couch on Thursday night despite that first round grade. He spent the moment with family and friends, who erupted when his name was called.
The best celebration came from mom, who reached over to give her son the biggest of hugs, and she wasn’t letting anyone else in on the action!

Olu Fashanu’s mom boxed out with perfect form, holding back who many assumed to be the lineman’s girlfriend as she tried to join in on the celebration.
