Paige Ostroushko is no longer listed on the official college soccer roster at Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Her status with the university remains unclear amid an ongoing FBI investigation.

However, it does not appear as though she will continue her career with the Pointers. It sounds like she was already off of the team prior to this incident.

Ostroshko either quit the team prior to the viral incident or had her roster spot taken away from her due to a violation of the student-athlete handbook. BroBible reached out to the athletics department for an official statement regarding its college soccer program but I have yet to hear back as of this writing. I believe it is the latter. I think she is a former college athlete.

Who is Paige Ostroushko?

A native of Prior Lake, Minnesota, Ostroushko played high school soccer at Shattuck St. Mary’s. She started playing the sport at nine years old to follow in the footsteps of her father, Chris Ostroushko, who played Division I soccer at Valparaiso and signed a contract to play professionally in Germany.

Paige Ostroushko was a promising young prospect in Minnesota. She was invited to compete with the United States Soccer Olympic Development Program in her home state and was named as the MVP at the ODP Midwest Regional Showcase in 2017. She also made the U15 Developmental Academy team at Shattuck St. Mary’s at the age of 11 and scored two goals with six assists while playing four years up.

The 5-foot-7, 130-pound midfielder/forward also trained with soccer performance specialist Brayan Lopez, who also coaches national and professional team players from all over the world— as well as the Minnesota United of the MLS. Soccer always came first in her life and everything else second.

Even though a torn ACL and fractured knee limited her long-term career development, Ostroushko was part of the 10% that came back from her injury to play at the same level. UW-Stevens Point brought her on as a freshman in the Class of 2024.

Ostroushko played in 11 games as a freshman with one start and scored one goal on 13 shot attempts. She scored three goals as a sophomore on 19 shots in seven games with six starts.

The second-semester sophomore is no longer listed on the college soccer roster.

Paige Ostroushko and her father are currently facing charges that stem from an alleged assault over the weekend. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is involved.

A Turning Point USA reporter by the name of Savanah Hernandez attended an anti-ICE demonstration outside of the Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis on Saturday. It very quickly got out of hand.

Videos of the incident seem to show Paige Oustroushko blowing a whistle in the ear of Hernandez as the instigator and shoving the reporter into a nearby fence. Her mother also confronts the reporter. Her father then appears to deck Hernandez from behind. She fell to the ground.

Paige Oustroushko and her boyfriend, Lorenzo Amadeo Garcia, were both arrested on the scene. He was booked into custody on probable cause obstructing the legal process. She was later released.

Not too long after her release, Paige posted a video on social media in which she claimed she was the victim of assault — not the other way around. The Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the US Department of Justice and the FBI opened an investigation.

Oustroushko was listed on the UW-Stevens Point women’s college soccer roster for the 2025 season. She is not currently listed on the women’s college soccer roster for the spring of 2026.

I reached out to the athletics department to find out whether the rising junior was removed from the team or if she left the team on her own accord prior to this event. I will provide an update to this article if/when I hear back.
