Popular golf influencer Paige Spiranac has made it very clear numerous times in the past: she is not going to pose sans clothing for any photos.

Yes, she will pose provocatively in the photos and videos she shares on social media and on her pay site OnlyPaige.com, but that is as far as she will go.

That, however, hasn’t stopped a big chunk of her fans from continuing to push and even participate in some wishful thinking.

Case in point: On Thursday, Paige Spiranac had to address a fake tweet that was making its way around the internet.

“A meme account posted a fake tweet awhile ago and now people are blowing up my DMs!” Paige tweeted to her nearly 900,000 followers with an image of the fake tweet. “This is not true so don’t get your hopes up. But I did pick Rickie as a long shot so at least I have that going for me lol.”

“Its [sic] on the internet it has to be true,” someone tweeted back.

“The amount of people who think this is real is concerning lol,” Spiranac replied.

“It’s the thought that counts,” someone else joked.

Paige did share her top picks earlier this week for winning the US Open, but she made no mention of Rickie Fowler.

Fowler, by the way, shot a 8-under 62 for the lowest round in the tournament’s history on Thursday – a record that he held alone until Xander Schauffele, playing two groups behind him, finished with the exact same score.

Spiranac did mention Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka, Collin Morikawa, Maverick McNealy, and Max Homa, but no Rickie.

Meanwhile, over on TikTok, Paige Sprianac was back at it with yet another video from her bed.

“I like what I like,” the 30-year-old golf influencer wrote in the video’s description which had the words “When he likes golf” superimposed over it.
