A mysterious, pale creature reported to be snatching chickens from residents’ properties near the U.S.-Mexico border has some wondering whether an unknown predator, perhaps from another dimension, is on the loose. The reports of the strange creature have mostly come from the Valley of Juarez in Chihuahua, a Mexican agricultural region near El Paso, Texas.
The unidentified creature is described as almost hairless, with human-like features, long, thin fingers and a long tail, according to reports by The Economic Times and International Business Times. Some reports claim the creature is a two-legged animal.
Reports describe the alleged creature as varying greatly in size. This unknown species has reportedly been described as ranging from 2 to 6 feet tall.
The strange creature has reportedly been seen stealing chickens
The mysterious creature has been attacking chicken coops across the area, with reports of it stealing the birds. One report said a young boy saw the strange creature carry a chicken away in its mouth.
The creature has also reportedly been seen in various images captured by surveillance cameras and other video sources. However, no evidence supports the creature images circulating online, which are unverified.
Jaime Maussan, a Mexican journalist and UFO investigator, suggests the creature’s unusual physical characteristics could indicate an interdimensional origin, but he stresses there is no scientific evidence to support this claim.
“Why did it appear there? It’s a mystery. Are they interdimensional beings? Did they come with other beings? Did they come in ships?” he asked, according to the El Paso Times.
No official confirmation of a mysterious predator
Local authorities have not commented on any mysterious alien-like predator in the area. Also, no credible evidence links these sightings to interstellar or interdimensional phenomena.
According to the International Business Times, civil protection officials in Juarez said that they have not received any formal complaints about an unknown creature attacking livestock. And on the Texas side of the border, officials said they had not seen nor heard of any unusual animal-related activity.
Jaime Maussan’s history of controversial UFO and alien investigations
In 2023, Maussan appeared before the Mexican Congress and showed images and videos of what he claimed were 1,000-year-old alien corpses. He said the remains held DNA that was not of this world. However, other scientists and researchers later examined the remains and found no evidence of extraterrestrial origins.
The UFO sleuth also said his team found unusual internal structures, what appeared to be advanced technology, and alien writing when they examined a mysterious metallic sphere discovered in a Colombian jungle.
Maussan also claims to have investigated UFO sightings in Mexico. One sighting involved three UFOs seen flying over Tulcingo de Valle, Puebla, in a triangle formation. Some people speculated that the UFOs may have come from or were going to Popocatepetl, a volcano located about 90 miles away that is often cited as being an alien base.
