It’s been around two months since Pat Perez’s wife Ashley filed for divorce, and she did not hold back while addressing the development for the first time since the news came to light.

Pat Perez initially made a name for himself on the PGA Tour before defecting to LIV Golf in 2022. He had a grand total of three wins under his belt on the first circuit before making the leap, and while he hasn’t really made a ton of headlines in recent years, the same can’t be said about his (soon-to-be-ex) wife.

Ashley Perez has managed to ruffle some feathers in the golf world on a few occasions thanks to her tendency to share what’s on her mind, whether we’re talking about the time she baselessly claimed Tiger Woods was under the influence when he crashed his car in 2021 or the occasion where she said she wants to see someone punch Rory McIlroy in the face.

At the start of the year, BroBible was the first outlet to report Ashley had filed for divorce in a Florida court close to ten years after the couple had tied the knot, and while neither party immediately responded after we broke the news, she has now decided to chime in.

If you’re familiar with Ashley’s history, you won’t be shocked to learn she broke her silence on Instagram with a pretty brutal one-two punch.

The first came in the form of a Story where she said she sympathized with a TikTok user who said she “wasted almost half my life on a narcissist,” while the other featured a screenshot of some news stories concerning their divorces along with the message “I’m leaving, sorry for your loss.”

The divorce hasn’t been finalized as of this writing (a resolution management conference was set for an unspecifed date a few weeks ago), but it seems like it’s only a matter of time.
