Taylor Swift’s attendance at Sunday’s Kansas City Chiefs game as a guest of tight end Travis Kelce sent the NFL world into hysterics.

Fans weren’t sure how to react to such momentous news.

Neither were some of the players, like Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

During his post-game interview with Erin Andrews, Mahomes even admitted that he “felt a little bit of pressure” with Taylor Swift “in the house.”

“Yeah, she’s a tremendous… she’s a pop star, she’s a tremendous singer. Tremendous at everything she does,” Mahomes told the media.

“I haven’t got to meet her, but if she ends up with Travis I’ll probably get to meet her. Seems like a good person, so hopefully I’ll get to meet her one day.”

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid was also asked about Taylor Swift after the game – a 41-10 win, by the way – because of course he was.

“You know, I’ve met her before,” said Reid, adding with a smile before bolting the podium, “I set them up.”

Later during the post-game presser, Mahomes revealed how Travis Kelce informed him that Taylor Swift was coming to the game.

“He told me at like the last minute,” Mahomes shared. “There are some things with Trav, he’ll say it and you don’t know if it’s true or not. He says it so calmly… I mean, I remember one time he was like, ‘Hey, I’m going to go to one of the World Series, err, one of the playoff baseball games.’ I’m like, he said it so randomly, then he just went. And I was just like…

“But the same thing on Friday, he was just like, ‘Yeah, I think she’s coming to the game today, I mean, to game this weekend,’ and then he just moved about his business. And you’re kind of like, I guess that just happens. I don’t know. That’s just Travis.”
