The police wants to charge three people who apparently had a hand in an assault during a Patriots-Dolphins game last month. Sadly, the scuffle ended in tragedy, as a Patriots fan lost his life.

The Foxborough Police Department tells TMZ that they plan to hit these three Rhode Island residents with charges of assault and battery, as well disorderly conduct.

Police isn’t sharing the names of the suspects but according to TMZ, they believe these are the guys that had a role in what led to Dale Mooney’s death at Gillette Stadium.

The Foxborough PD have been busy with interviewing witnesses and going over videos of the incident.

Mooney got caught up in the tussle during the game back on September 16th, and it all ended with him keeling over and tragically passing away. However, they suspect it might have been a medical issue, not the brawl itself, that sealed his fate.

A superfan of the Patriots, Dale was 53 years old when he passed. He was reportedly laid to rest while wearing a Mac Jones jersey.
