Just when you thought Steelers fans couldn’t be any more irate at the Patriots after last week’s controversial loss, Sith Belichick and the Pats just scooped one of their most identifiable players: James Harrison.

Harrison, who the Steelers released with two games left in the season after he complained about lack of playing time, was at Gillette Stadium earlier today taking a pitch from his former rival.

According to ESPN’s Field Yates, the Patriots are expected to sign the 39-year-old who holds the all-time sack record in Pittsburgh with 80.5.

The Steelers released the man who helped bring the city two Super Bowl championships to make room on the roster for right tackle Marcus Gilbert.

The five-time Pro Bowler has played 40 snaps through 14 games on the season and has just one sack. He’s expressed his dismay with a lack of playing time publicly. And hilariously.

Thoughts and prayers to Steelers fans to make it through this difficult time.
