PGA Championship Star Michael Block’s Incredible Year Continues As He Sinks An Ace While Raising Money For Kids

Earlier this year, Michael Block became arguably the coolest story of the 2023 PGA Championship. The club pro from the Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo, California had the golf world sitting on the edge of its seat as he finished t15 and was paired with Rory McIlroy in the Final Round, and blew Rory away with his short game.

After that, Michael Block was invited to a PGA Tour event and has continued to grow his name in the name of golf but his incredible year just hit another milestone when Block sunk an ace during TaylorMade’s 100 Hole Hike at The Hay, an event to raise money for kids.

The same video is also available on X, formerly known as Twitter, and it includes a link to TaylorMade’s charity landing page to raise money for the 100 Hole Hike at The Hay.

On Instagram, Michael Block commented on TaylorMade’s video with the understatement of the year. He wrote “Very blessed!” and has racked up 220 likes and counting.

Others chimed in to congratulate the Mission Viejo club pro and wrote things like “The most casual ace in history” and “can’t stop won’t stop.” Someone even cheekily chimed in by tagging Tiger Woods and speaking to Tiger saying :you should hire him as your teacher. What a story that would be.”

Block was out there for the 100 Hole Hike at The Hay where the charity raises money to make golf affordable for kids. Through their efforts, they are able to bring the price down to just $5/round:

Going back to the PGA Championship, Michael Block had a hole-in-one on the 15th and then finished his round with one of the most spectacular up-and-downs on 18th of the tournament.

What. A. Year.
