On Monday, TMZ reported that Carmelo Anthony impregnated a dancer at a gentlemen’s club in New York City. The woman is reportedly over six months pregnant and is expecting financial support from the NBA baller. However, new reports say that she is not a stripper from NYC, but rather a young woman from Chicago with a masters degree. That still probably will not smooth things over with Melo’s soon-to-be-divorced wife La La.
Her name is Mia Burks and she is a graduate of Northwestern University where she earned a master’s degree in Health Communications in 2016. Since last September, she has been the Director of Special Projects for ReGeneration Schools in Chicago.
According to Baller Alert, Mia allegedly was dating reality TV star Ryan Henry from VH1’s “Black Ink” when she met Melo.
“Mia met Carmelo at Room Seven, a club in Chicago, when he was here for the NBA draft doing press. She was traveling back and forth to New York while she was messing around with Ryan Henry from Black ink Chicago. She’s not a stripper she’s a graduate student from Northwestern University with a Masters degree in education. Her and Carmelo weren’t serious at all she was plotting.”
The website Fameolous Entertainment released photos of Mia.
Heavy was able to snag some pics of Mia before she shut down her Instagram.
Carmelo did have this groundbreaking philosophy on why he was allowed to cheat on La La – “She’s married, I’m not.”
La La as well as Melo were seen without their wedding rings this week. This especially sucks for Melo because he lost the only ring he’ll ever own.
