Kylian Mbappe put the FIFIA world on its head after he requested a transfer from Paris Saint-Germain. The superstar is ready to move on, as he has been in disagreement with the coaching philosophy. However, a bombshell recently dropped claiming that PSG has been playing dirty with their current star online.

Rumors Are PSG ‘Hired External Company’ To Attack Kylian Mbappe

According to the Daily Star, “Media Part (a French media company) claim to have conducted an investigation that they say uncovered evidence of PSG’s involvement in a co-ordinated online abuse campaign targeting Mbappe, that was carried out by Twitter bots.” These claims are absolutely insane. Especially considering Kylian Mbappe is currently in the middle of a contract dispute and requesting a transfer.

If this is true, then PSG certainly has some explaining to do. However, the popular FIFA team denies these claims, per the Daily Star. “A club statement, shared by Europe 1, read: ‘Paris Saint-Germain strongly denies Mediapart’s allegations. PSG is an international brand that works continuously with social media agencies around the world to promote and celebrate.'”

Everything about these rumors is insane. We’ve seen sports franchises and star athletes at odds before. It happens consistently throughout the sporting world. However, this is a situation that could turn ugly quickly if PSG doesn’t handle it accordingly. Considering these are rumors, it makes sense for the club to deny any and all of these allegations.

In the meantime, this certainly doesn’t help Kylian Mbappe’s transfer saga. The plot is certainly thickening with the FIFA World Cup right around the corner. Keep an eye out for any updates, as more information could come to light in the coming weeks.
