If you needed further proof that we live in a simulation, looks no further than the Arena Football League.

The Albany Empire defeated the Philadelphia Soul in the ArenaBowl 32 last night, but you already knew that. The MVP of the game, as your surely remember a man named Tom Grady securing MVP honors after throwing five touchdown passes. TOM. GRADY. This is not a drill.

Grady, who was cut by the Dolphins in 2009, is making a case for becoming the Tom Brady of the AFL by way of two AFL MVPs and two AFL Offensive Player of the Year awards.

Needless to say, the internet was as flabbergasted by this revelation as I was.

Tom Grady sounds like a shitty Tom Brady burner account. I’m still not convinced this Grady character is a real human being. Then again, I’m not sure what is real or just part of a simulation anymore.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
