There’s never been a better time to be a big-time college football quarterback than right now. Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers is proving that, as he’s signed an incredibly cool NIL deal.

While most players might be getting money from a local restaurant or business, Quinn is one of the sport’s biggest stars. That means, he gets deals like the one he signed this week with Nicholas Air, a company specializing in private jet travel.

Here’s more from Business Wire.

Under the terms of the agreement, Ewers will collaborate with NICHOLAS AIR on various marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and community engagements, and gain access to their impressive jet fleet. This partnership will not only provide the opportunity to amplify his personal brand but will also empower him to make a positive impact beyond the gridiron.

“We are really excited to welcome Quinn to the NICHOLAS AIR family. He’s got exceptional talent and is the type of leader and player that makes college football exciting to watch. We look forward to seeing Quinn excel on the field and seeing him onboard with NICHOLAS AIR,” said NJ Correnti, Founder and CEO of NICHOLAS AIR. “NICHOLAS AIR has always aligned itself with the best in class, both on and off the field, and our relationship with a great leader and hard worker like Quinn is another exciting chapter for our team.”

Remeber, three years ago, a player could not accept a free hamburger from a local business. Now, players like Quinn Ewers are signing deals for private jet companies!

It’s unclear how much, if at all, private jet time Quinn Ewers gets as part of the deal. But, I think that Quinn Ewers definitely hinted at it.

Ewers expressed enthusiasm about the deal, stating, “I’m fired up for my new partnership with NICHOLAS AIR. It is a first-class organization and a perfect match for my travel needs. Their attention to detail and commitment to high-level service for their Members is second to none. Proud to represent their brand.”

I took the bus in college, so I can’t relate.

Ewers led Texas to the College Football Playoff last year, where they lost a classic to Washington. Since he reclassified from the class of 2022 to the class of 2021 ,he will technically be a redshirt junior this upcoming year. But, he elected to return to school to help Texas win their first national title since 2005, and he will also be a top candidate for the Heisman Trophy.

Last season, Quinn Ewers threw for 3,479 yards, 22 touchdowns and 6 interceptions in 12 games last year    It’s not hard to see Quinn Ewers being the first quarterback off the board in the 2025 NFL Draft with a good year next year.
