Bill Murray is having himself a time at an NCAA Tournament game between UCONN and Arkansas. The actor was spotted in the crowd in Las Vegas rooting on the Huskies.

Murray is an avid basketball fan. We’ve all seen his role in Space Jam. Fans have also seen him at previous Big Dances, with the Chicago native typically cheering for teams from the Windy City.

He now has a vested interest in Connecticut, though, where his son is an assistant coach.

Luke Murray has been a basketball coach for some time now, spending time on staff at major programs like Xavier, Louisville, and Rhode Island. He was an assistant for current Huskies head coach Dan Hurley at both URI and Wagner.

The younger Murray developed a reputation as being a great recruiter, which helped him land a job with Connecticut. He now finds himself in the Sweet Sixteen.

During the first half of action in the meeting with Arkansas, the Huskies threw down a ridiculous alley-oop to start a 16-4 run. Bill Murray’s reaction to the incredible UCONN jam is now going viral.

Fans have been quick to react on social media as they post their replies to the actor’s response.

It seems like we’ve seen this image before…

Bill Murray is definitely having a ball rooting on the UCONN Huskies, who find themselves up 71-46 at the time of this writing. Connecticut appears to be on its way to the Elite Eight. Maybe we’ll have another Murray sighting on Saturday night.
