Jordan Love decided to get creative this Father’s Day by taking a jab at a division rival. The soon-to-be starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers threw shade at the Bears with his post online.

Unfortunately, the joke didn’t hit quite like he’d anticipated. Many NFL fans were confused upon hearing it as they posted replies on social media.

“Happy Father’s Day to all the Bears fans out there,” Love said “Go Pack Go.”

While the intent of the joke is known, the wording was a bit off. Was he actually saying the Bears were his father?

“Oh man. He hit the Uno reverse on himself,” one fan wrote.

Another said, “Yeah, weird attempt of a flex.”

Others were more focused on the fact that he’s never actually played in a game against the Bears. In fact, he’s only made one start in his career which resulted in a loss.

While the Packers have won eight straight games against their division rival, Love had nothing to do with it.

With Aaron Rodgers moving on to the New York Jets this past offseason, Jordan Love will finally have his shot under center. The third-year signal caller will hope to lead the Packers to the playoffs while improving upon his career 0-1 mark as a starter.

In 10 appearances, Love has completed 50 of his 83 pass attempts for 606 yards, three scores, and three interceptions.

We’ll see if these comments come back to bite him in Week 1 as the Packers travel to Soldier Field in their season opener.
