Fans are looking forward to college basketball’s final game on Monday night, but unfortunately, those on the East Coast have to wait a little longer to see the opening tip.

Tonight’s national championship matchup between the UCONN Huskies and San Diego State Aztecs isn’t slated to start until after 9 PM EST. Viewers have been quick to post negative reaction to the late start on social media.

It is worth noting that tonight’s game is being played in Houston, putting the tip an hour behind the East Coast. Still, those that choose to stay up in the Eastern Time Zone (where the UCONN Huskies play) will likely need to stay up until midnight or later to watch the game and postgame festivities all the way through.

Those Connecticut supporters aren’t necessarily happy about that. Here’s what fans were saying online.

The national media shares that sentiment as many posted similar reactions on social media.

Those watching the Huskies will have to stay up late in order to watch their team battle for a title. Many expect UCONN to win, including rap star Drake, who may have already cursed the team with his gambling picks.

As for those supporting the Aztecs, it’ll still be sunny in San Diego when the national championship starts.
