Aaron Rodgers is currently in the middle of a 4-day darkness retreat, trying to make a decision about his uncertain future in the NFL. It seems that the Packers already decided for themselves and have eliminated one of his options.
A-Rod has been deliberating on one of three options for his career. Retirement, Playing for the Packers, or asking for a trade and playing elsewhere for the first time in 18-years.
NFL executives have voiced their displeasure with his darkness retreat, saying “he might be more trouble than he’s worth,”
According to a recent report, the Packers already shut down one of those possibilities for him.
Veteran writer Bob McGinn was on the Tyler Dunne Go Long podcast and shared what he learned about Green Bay’s situation.

The report says “They’re disgusted with him, and they’re done with him. And they’re moving on.”
McGinn added that he’s “totally convinced” Rodgers won’t be back as the starter.

That means the team wants to trade Rodgers if he decides to return for his 19th NFL season. The question is, does he want to retire a Packer or want to re-start his career elsewhere?
Jordan Love Is Greatly Improved
In addition to the information McGinn shared about Aaron Rodgers, he also added a note about quarterback Jordan Love.
“On the other hand, they love Jordan Love. They think he’s the second coming now. They’ve seen enough in practice for three years, that they believe he is like Rodgers 2.0.”
The Packers are more confident than ever to start Jordan Love and with his ability to lead.
That makes it easier for them to move on from Aaron Rodgers. Now we’ll have to wait and see what he decides to do.
