AHHAAHA The Redskins Hate RG3 So Much They Stuck Him At Scout Team Safety This Week

Sorry, I’m not done LOLing. This is some vindictive, freshman football-type shit. Like the head coach heard his starting quarterback was out with some girls before a big game, and they lost that night, so he stuck him on defense for a few days after to show him who’s boss.

But nah, this ain’t Westfields High or some shit. This is an NFL team (just barely). This week in practice, the Washington Redskins sent their former star quarterback, Robert Griffin the Third, out as scout team safety.

From NFL.com:

Why are the Redskins keeping Griffin on the roster?

That question became especially difficult to answer this week based on occurrences during practices when Griffin, according to multiple team sources, was running with the scout team defense as a safety. Yes … a safety.

The report says it’s not uncommon for third-string QBs to take those reps in the NFL. Why, the same article notes that that Cowboys’ third-string QB, Jameill Showers, did just that at practice this week, too.

Jameill Showers is an undrafted rookie out of UTEP.
