Investigators have determined the cause of the fire that tore through the home of Tyreek Hill on Wednesday – a fire that was live-streamed by none other than Rick Ross.

TMZ reports that a spokesperson for the Davie Fire Department in Florida stated Tyreek Hill’s Southwest Ranches mansion was lit on fire by a child playing with a lighter in one of the home’s bedrooms.

The fire, which was ruled accidental, ended up drawing the attention of national media on Wednesday, partly due to the fact that Hill’s neighbor, rapper and record executive Rick Ross, reported from the scene as it was unfolding while waiting for his Wingstop order to be delivered.

“Just my opinion, must be an electrical fire because the smoke is getting thicker and thicker as the fire trucks standing,” Ross said in a video posted to his Instagram stories. “More and more helicopters.”

“Lil bro gon’ have to build a new crib, it’s all good though. It’s all good,” Ross continued. “Spent 10 on this one, ya heard me? We build another one you feel me? Live it up.”

Ross was also able to provide an update on whether anyone was harmed during the blaze at Tyreek Hill’s seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom home.

“God is great. It’s unfortunate the house caught on fire across the street, but you know, I checked with the firefighters, there was no one that was injured,” Ross revealed. “Everybody was out of the house. Fire is under control. God bless the homie, you already know.”

Oh yeah, as for his Wingstop order, Rick Ross explained that while he “had to walk to the end of the streets to get that Wingstop,” it was all good “as long as all of the Hills’ safe.”

That much was confirmed by Hill’s agent Drew Rosenhaus and Tyreek’s teammate Tua Tagovailoa.

“It is very difficult for anybody, obviously, to have your home catch on fire, but Hill was handling it with as much poise as you can hope,” Rosenhaus told WSVN News.

“I think that would be difficult for, not just my teammates, but for anyone in general to be going through what Tyreek is going through right now,” Dolphins’ Tagovailoa told the media after Wednesday’s practice.

“I think the main thing is his family is safe, his loved ones are good, and he’s good as well. I know it’s a little clichéd to say, but those things like that, part of the house, some of those things can be replaceable, but I’m just glad that a lot of his family members are safe.”
