I have not been shy about the fact that I think the Rio Olympics are going to be a disaster. Zika climbing all up in everyone’s dicks, drug lords running amok with machine guns, water that wants to eat the skin off of your face. Why are we sending people there? I don’t want to watch what is essentially a real-life version of Tropic Thunder aka famous people being thrown into a horrible situation and forced to fight for their lives. However, this new move by NBC makes things a little more interesting. And by interesting, I mean hiring Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima as commentators.

“NBC announced that Brazilian supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima will be joining the network’s late night coverage of the Rio Olympic Games. The pair will be sharing the stage with host Ryan Seacrest, providing a nightcap to the day’s coverage of the Games.
However, don’t expect them to just be pretty faces on the TV screen. The Brazil natives will be responsible for feature stories and commentary on their home country. The move is interesting, but only because it doesn’t seem that NBC needs any help getting more eyes on the network during the Olympics. NBCUniversal is expected to break Olympic programming records with 6,755 hours of coverage, including live streams of all events online and on mobile platforms.
“Adriana and Alessandra are the perfect ambassadors to guide viewers through the celebrations taking place outside of the competition, showcasing the off-the-field experience for Olympic fans,” said NBC Olympics Executive Producer Jim Bell.”
Hey, no idea what they’ll possibly be covering, but I’m in. Maybe there will be a “Hottie On The Street” segment where they just walk around in lingerie and show off all the dead bodies that are the result of an unpaid police force. I’d watch that. I’d watch these two light homeless people on fire or use a newborn baby as a soccer ball. I mean, look at them and tell me you wouldn’t watch these women literally do anything.
