Rob Gronkowski is indeed going to be working on Sundays again, but he won’t be playing football, he’ll be talking about it on FOX NFL Sunday.

Ian Rapoport reported that the three-time Super Bowl champ has been hired by FOX and he will be a regular analyst on FOX’s popular pregame show. Safe to say he’ll bring a little bit of pop to the show because that’s what the man does.

He’ll make his debut this Thursday at the Giants-Patriots game and he seems pretty excited for this next step in life.

Gronk has a pretty unique personality. He’s the kind of guy that keeps things very real and honest, which could translate to some great conversation and talking points on the show, but then again it’s going to take some getting used to seeing him sit behind a desk.

There is no doubt that he will bring something new, probably something never seen before honestly, to FOX’s NFL Sunday. He’ll bring some heat with some one-liners, he and Michael Strahan will probably have a good rapport and he’ll keep the group going through some segments.

What do we set the over/under at for how many minutes it takes him to slip in a 69 joke?

The future Hall of Famer has been busy since retiring. On top of this new role, he’s partnered with a CBD company and has continued to make appearances with the WWE, which he’s done for a few years now.

Maybe the fact that he’ll now be watching football and talking about it professionally it’ll give him even more of an itch to return to the field, at least that’s what a majority of Patriots fans will be hoping with this whole situation.
