The Rock Had An Awesome Reaction To Joe Burrow Copying His Viral Old School Look

Way back in 2014, when Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was 18-years-old, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson blew up the internet when he went viral for an outfit he wore in the 1990s.

You know the one? Turtleneck. Big gold chain. Fake TAG Heuer watch. And, of course, the fanny pack and the well placed tissue under his elbow.

It was such a great look that five years later people, including The Rock’s best frenemy Kevin Hart, were still talking about it.

And we still are to this day. Because this past Sunday after the wild AFC Championship Game Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow showed up to the post-game presser looking an awful lot like The Rock did back in the day. (Except his chain probably cost a whole lot more than The Rock’s did.)

One person who noticed Joey Brrr’s attire on Sunday was none other than The Rock himself, who could definitely smell what Joey Franchise was cooking.

Commenting on the SportsCenter photo comparison between the two, Johnson wrote on Twitter, “Just two bad ass dudes with a strong drip game and big football dreams.

“One is going to the #SuperBowl and preparing to cement his gridiron legacy.

“The other is only famous for rocking a fanny pack and a f—ed up haircut.”

If Super Bowl XLVIII ends up being decided by which team has the most swag, it is going to be very hard for Los Angeles Rams to overcome the Bengals’ Joe Burrow and Evan McPherson.
