The Washington Commanders have fallen 1-3 on the season and it’s not looking good for the franchise. They haven’t gotten into a good rhythm at all, which doesn’t bode well for their future success. Head coach Ron Rivera was asked about the team’s struggles and his answer has the entire fanbase concerned.

Head Coach Ron Rivera’s Response Has Commanders Fans Worried

It’s no question that Washington is in deep trouble right now. They must find a way to get out of the rut if they hope to compete for the playoffs this season. The Commanders’ head coach Ron Rivera tries to quiet down the crowd noise by reverting back to the organization’s past championships.

We’re not sure exactly how the past championships relate to the 2022 Washington Commanders. The last Super Bowl win for this franchise was back in 1992. It’s really not a great sign to hear a head coach look back on the team’s history from 30+ years ago, but here we are. As expected, the fans aren’t taking this comment lightly either.

It’s been like this for a LONG time.

In case anyone was looking for another reason for Dan Snyder to sell the team.

What exactly was Ron Rivera thinking?

We’ll see how it plays out for the Commanders this season. Maybe they can turn things around, as there is still plenty of time left. However, with the way the team has looked so far, it’s not looking great.
