Ronda Rousey’s striking has not gotten much better over the years.

On Saturday, Rousey is coming back to the MMA cage to fight longtime rival Gina Carano.

Rousey said she started training for the fight back in 2024 while she was still pregnant.

“I was about three months pregnant when my husband caught me doing suplexes in the garage,” Rousey said. Her husband, former UFC heavyweight Travis Browne, quickly stepped in with a reminder to slow things down.

“He’s like, ‘Girl, you gotta give it a little rest,’”

During fight week, Rousey showed off her boxing skills in front of the media, and fans quickly mocked Rousey over her striking skills on social media.

Rousey’s grappling workout fared a lot better.

During Thursday’s Rousey-Carano press conference, Rousey insisted that she’s willing to break Garano’s arm if things got to that point.

“I definitely wouldn’t have any hesitation in breaking it,” Rousey replied when asked if she would be hesitant to break her opponent’s arm during the fight. “But I also wouldn’t hesitate in putting it back in place, it’s kind of a wax on wax off kind of situation. You know, you don’t really break it, you just kind of dislocate it,” Rousey added.

“It’s not that bad, I’ve had my elbow go out several times because I didn’t tap and I thought I was really cool when I was young and I wouldn’t pay for it when I was older. But yeah, I wouldn’t hesitate and I would make sure to put it back” Rousey finished.
