As you can tell from the video above, there are a ton of sports fans who straight-up hate the shit out of FOX Sports commentator Joe Buck—maybe it’s the whole the sense of entitlement and snooty comments he always seems to make—but I wouldn’t think that paying $975 to attend a World Series game so that I DIDN’T have to listen to his voice on TV would be an option.
Oh, but I’m not this Kansas City Royals fan, who nearly dropped a cool grand so that he could see Game 2 between his team and the New York Mets without having to hear the comments of Buck.
Sure, going to the game was probably awesome and all—especially since the Royals won to take a 2-0 series lead—but for $975 I would have just hit the mute button, called a stripper and eaten some pizza to avoid Joe Buck talking about who the hell knows what.
More power to this guy, though.
