Boxer Ryan Garcia has made a lot of claims since he defeated Devin Haney in a one-sided affair that eventually ended with him testing positive for the banned substance Ostarine.

He claimed he made a $2 million bet on himself. He said he gained 20 pounds after missing weight for the fight. He claimed his he tested positive for PEDs because he is a Donald Trump supporter. And he claimed that he drank and partied every day in the lead-up to the fight with Haney.

Now, in a new interview with the Bob Menery on the Fully Tilted podcast, Ryan Garcia claims he was “high as f—” during the Devin Haney fight while at the same time trying to defend himself from steroid allegations.

“Steroids doesn’t even give you an advantage,” the 25-year-old claimed. “Did it stop from Devin Haney getting cracked in the face? No, bro. It’s not going to help you with timing, with skill, with management with… and if I was on steroids I would have been in way better shape.

“I was literally drinking every day, smoking weed, he knows, every single day. I didn’t stop not even till the f—— day of the fight.

“Drink, drink, drink, and I got in there high as f— and I beat his a– right. That was so easy. That was a walk in the f—— park. I had harder fights in sparring, bro. It was not hard at all,” Ryan Garcia continued.

“And even Devin was like ‘I’ve never been outclassed that much that easily.’Bro, steroids didn’t help that, brother. I’ve fought somebody on steroids and I’ve knocked them the f— out. It doesn’t do anything.”

The 25-1 Garcia is now waiting to find out if his B-sample from the Devin Haney comes back positive. If it does and he cannot prove his innocence, he will face a suspension, a fine and his win over Haney being overturned.

Devin Haney, after hearing what Ryan Garcia had to say on Fully Tilted, says he isn’t surprised by any of it.
