The best Valentine’s Day cards I saw on the internet today came from the website for John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum. The second best cards, and they were only second by a smidge, has to go to whoever is running the Sacramento Kings’ very amusing Twitter account.
Because whoever that person is has been very, very busy today.
“We heard that they stopped making those candy hearts, but we found one more batch of them…” tweeted the Kings this afternoon and then followed it up with special, custom Valentine’s Day cards for the 29 other NBA teams. (Also, that thing about the candy hearts? It’s true. Thank God.)
Some of them were excellent, a few were so-so, and some (most) of the cards were just so bad they’re good. This first Valentine’s Day card from the Kings to the Atlanta Hawks falls squarely into that last category.
