Original Story:

Saints Pro Bowl wide receiver Michael Thomas found himself in trouble on Friday night.

Witnesses in Kenner reported to WDSU that Thomas was taken away by police, following an incident in the Gabriel subdivision where he resides.

According to WDSU, heavy police presence was noted in the area, triggered by an alleged altercation involving Thomas and some neighbor contractors. Thomas is accused of throwing two bricks at the neighbor’s car which had been repeatedly parked in the street near his residence. He’s also accused of allegedly pushing him.

Additionally, Thomas allegedly took the individual’s phone and tossed it when he began recording the incident, and then grabbed the person.

The Saints released a statement that they’re aware of the incident.

The incident marks another addition to the recent string of legal troubles involving Saints players in Kenner. Just a couple of weeks ago, Saints wideout Chris Olave was arrested for allegedly speeding 70 in a 35 mph zone.

The story is still developing.
