It seems as if Marshawn Lynch’s cryptic tweet sent out on the heels of Super Bowl 50 means exactly what most people interpreted it to mean…
Members of the Seattle Seahawks confirmed in the early A.M. hours on Monday morning that Beast Mode would truly be hanging them up. As in retiring. As in taking the money and running, far, far away from the NFL gridiron.
Salute to my guy @MoneyLynch … It was an honor sharing the field with you.

And then so did the team’s GM.
@Seahawks Thank you @MoneyLynch for a great career as a Seahawk. So many memorable runs and quakes! #BeastMode !

If this is truly a career for Marshawn Lynch, he walks away from the NFL with 9,112 career rushing yards, landing at No. 36 on the list of the game’s all-time leading rushers.
