A security guard is going viral Wednesday morning due to a fantastic form tackle that lifted a Phillies fan clear off of his feet. The de-cleating hit took place during Philadelphia’s NLCS matchup with Arizona.

In a game that saw three home runs, this might’ve been the biggest shot of the night.

The atmosphere in Citizens Bank Park was rowdy as attendees watched the home team blast its way to a 10-0 shutout. The fireworks got started early and often with Trea Turner and Kyle Schwarber both leaving the yard within the first three innings of play.

As the Phillies’ lead continued to grow, so did the ambitions of those in the stands.

At one point in the action, a fan hopped over the outfield wall and proceeded to race around the centerfield grass. He didn’t make it long before being absolutely belted by a security team member.

The security guard came out of nowhere to lay the blindside tackle, taking that Phillies fan off his feet.

Many are now calling for the Eagles to reach out.

“This fan must not have heard that Brian Dawkins is on the Phillies security team,” one account joked.

“Can he play safety for the Eagles???” this follower asked.

“This is probably a penalty in the NFL,” wrote someone else.

Even bullpen members were blown away by the unsuspecting hit, with one pitcher hilariously falling to the ground in laughter. The fan never saw it coming.

Most Phillies supporters left Citizens Bank Park with overwhelming joy as the team got one step closer to the World Series. This fan went home in pain.
