The past NBA season ended in disappointing fashion for the Milwaukee Bucks.

After putting together the league’s best record during the regular season, they managed to win just 1 postseason game as they were eliminated from the playoffs by the 8-seed Miami Heat.

Following the elimination, Giannis Antetokounmpo said that the season wasn’t a failure because of how it ended, but that didn’t stop speculation from starting about Giannis potentially leaving the Bucks.

So far, nothing has come of that speculation and there hasn’t been a single report of a potential trade, but it seems some teams are not deterred by that.

According to SNY’s Ian Begley, several teams around the NBA are monitoring the Giannis situation in Milwaukee.

“Who would the Knicks pursue next season if they don’t make a big move this offseason? That’s unclear.

But it’s worth noting here that several teams are keeping an eye on the situation in Milwaukee concerning the future of Giannis Antetokounmpo, as we’ve previously noted.”

If Giannis Antetokounmpo were to actually become available any time in the near future, it would create the most unbelievable bidding war in NBA history.

Giannis has been one of the most dominant players in the league over the past 5 seasons and is just 28 years old.

If he actually decided to request a trade from the Bucks, there are very few teams that wouldn’t be lining up a bid for him as he is the type of player that can completely change a franchise.

For now, teams will have to just continuing monitoring how Giannis Antetokounmpo feels about his time in Milwaukee, but if he ever decides he wants a change of scenery, it would be massive news in the NBA.
