Shedeur Sanders may or may not hear his name called Thursday night during the NFL Draft. The quarterback was once believed to be a surefire Top 5 pick. His stock has since slipped.
His mother, Pilar Sanders, has been stressed in the days leading up to the selection process. She’s anxious to see how everything plays out!

Pilar Sanders posted a video alongside her daughter, Shelomi, on Instagram this week. She seemed excited yet nervous while speaking to fans about her sons’ potential landing spots.
Those destinations are unclear at this point. Shilo Sanders is expected to go in the later rounds of the event. He made a last-second pitch to potential suitors on Tuesday.

Shedeur Sanders should hear his name much earlier. He could go in the first round to a QB-needy team. He could fall into Day 2.
Reviews on the passer have been somewhat negative on draft week. He seems to have fallen behind Jaxson Dart in the quarterback rankings, making him the third-best signal caller in the class.
Questions about the interview process have surfaced with one anonymous NFL assistant calling him “entitled” after their discussion. Sanders’ outlook has slipped significantly.
Shedeur Sanders posted an ominous draft day message.
The Colorado passer was once believed to be the frontrunner to be picked third by the New York Giants. Now, that seems a longshot.
Many mock drafts have him falling out of the Top 20 completely with the possibility of going to Pittsburgh at No. 21. Sanders teased a marriage with the Steelers in an interview earlier this week. Some have him sliding even further.
No one truly knows how it will play out – not even Sanders himself. He posted a draft day message on X early Thursday.

Reading into it, that message can be viewed as one from a player that knows his stock has fallen. He’s unsure of his destination, or even if he’ll hear his name called on Day 1. Regardless of that outcome, he insists he can handle whatever comes.
Should he go later than he’d hoped, you can believe he’ll set out to prove his doubters wrong. At this point, the most likely landing spots appear to be Pittsburgh, New York, Cleveland, or New Orleans. He’ll learn his fate soon enough!
