Deion Sanders’ son has now responded to the viral shade thrown his father’s way. Safety Shilo Sanders came to his dad’s defense after Colorado State head coach Jay Norvell questioned his character.

The defender had one simple question to ask for both Norvell and other opponents that continue to give the Buffaloes ammunition. Why?

This week, ahead of the Rocky Mountain Showdown, the Rams’ head coach took a shot at Coach Prime.

“When I talk to grownups, I take my hat and glasses off, that’s what my mother taught me,” Norvell said. It didn’t take long for Deion Sanders to respond.

“It’s personal again,” he replied. He’ll certainly use this jab as motivation in the rivalry game.

Prime isn’t the only Sanders family member taking offense. Shortly after the rival remarks went viral, Shilo Sanders gave his opinion on the situation.

He popped in on the Pat McAfee Show Thursday to discuss.

“Why do they do that?” the defensive back asks. “They just make it worse… Why do they do this to themselves every week?”

Sanders is referencing the Buffaloes’ last two opponents, TCU and Nebraska, which also gave Colorado ammunition in one way or another.

The folks in Boulder are keeping every receipt possible, and now America is starting to take note of the disrespect. The betting line took an immediate jump in favor of CU after Norvell’s “sunglasses” comment.

We’ll see if the Buffs do in fact take the shot personally when the two teams meet on Saturday.
