Shohei Ohtani is one of baseball’s biggest stars and now he finally has an endorsement deal.
As you could imagine, MLB fans can’t wait for his cleats to drop so they can get a pair themselves.
According to Front Office Sports, Shohei Ohtani signed a deal with New Balance. He’ll be rocking their gear throughout the 2023 season and beyond. This is a massive deal for New Balance, as the company has surprisingly reeled in big-name athletes in both basketball and baseball.

Details about the contract are currently unknown. However, it’s likely a massive deal considering the company convinced Shohei Ohtani to walk away from ASICS. A brand he’s been wearing throughout his career.
After signing Ohtani, the company reveals they will be releasing a limited edition of 574 baseball cleats in February, per Complex Sneakers.

MLB fans are all over this endorsement deal. With New Balance dropping a limited edition baseball cleat, fans can’t wait to get their hands on them. For that reason, it sounds like the company made a great choice in signing Shohei Ohtani.
