Chicago Sky’s DiJonai Carrington continues to add to her reputation as a hard-nosed player.
Earlier this year, Carrington was accused of being a dirty player after committing a string of hard fouls during several games.
Carrington would go on social media to combat the accusations of being labeled a dirty player.
“Yall fans swear i’m such a dirty player. I’m SO over this narrative bc if u really know bball, u know I jus play hard asf & never give up on a play. &yup, we challenged the last couple flagrants & got em rescinded bc I’m ALWAYS tryna make a play on the ball nun more, nun less.”
On Saturday, Carrington was once again at the center of controversy when she was ejected for slapping Sophie Cunningham across the face during a fast break.

An upset Cunningham had to be restrained from fighting Carrington after the play.
Sophie Cunningham was just flagrantly fouled by DiJonai Carrington, the same player who poked Clark in the eye, causing her to bleed.
