During a game between CD Abes and Gabia CF in the Second Division Andalucia Senior in Spain a man “invaded the pitch and approached assistant number one and tried to hit him with his penis, which he had pulled out beforehand,” according to The Local.
The referee in question, Jesús Lorenzo Rodríguez, stated “clearly and unequivocally” that the penis attacker was not even just a random fan, but was actually a player for a rival team, Céltic de Pulianas C.F. Amazing.
“He was wearing the team’s tracksuit and I recognized him from when he’d refereed in the past,” Rodríguez wrote in his notes from the match.

The Mayoress of Las Gabias (Granada), Vanessa Polo Gil described the incident as “abominable and completely detestable” and regretted anything like this could happen in one of their games.
Such behaviour put a stain on the good image of sport, she added.
The referee’s union in Granada has denounced the attack and demanded urgent action to eliminate such behaviour.
It wants to know “how this situation has been reached in football” and “why leaders are doing nothing to change it.”
Oh soccer… sorry to break it to you, but you and your fans have “put a stain on the good image of sport” loonnnng before this guy tried attacking a referee with his penis.
