The Spurs Are Not Interested In Receiving Lonzo Ball In Trade For Kawhi Leonard

The San Antonio Spurs are currently “fully engaged” with several teams in trade talks to move disgruntled star Kawhi Leonard. The Lakers currently have been the most aggressive team pursuing a trade with the Spurs but apparently San Antonio isn’t interested in one of their best assets, point guard Lonzo Ball.

The question now is whether the Lakers even have enough to convince the San Antonio Spurs to send Leonard there. With San Antonio believed to be uninterested in Lonzo Ball, the Lakers have three other intriguing young players — Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma and Josh Hart — plus their future first-round picks to include in a deal.

There’s always a chance Ball could be moved elsewhere for other assets San Antonio may prefer, as well.

Several other NBA journalists also believe Bomtemps’ report about the Spurs being disinterested in Lonzo Ball makes sense.

I wonder how many teams would actually be willing to trade for Lonzo Ball considering they know that they would have to put up with LaVar Ball.
