The Pittsburgh Steelers failed to make the playoffs but made some strides in the final weeks of the regular season.
Since being eliminated from the postseason, the fanbase has been on pins and needles about the offensive coordinator position.
Most fans seem to want the Steelers to move on from Matt Canada as the offensive coordinator. However, according to Gerry Dulac, Pittsburgh has, “no plans to replace offensive coordinator Matt Canada and he is expected to return to Mike Tomlin’s coaching staff in 2023.”
This is basically the exact opposite of what Steelers fans were hoping to hear. Especially considering how poorly the offensive playcalling has been. Even so, Pittsburgh was competitive down the stretch, as the offensive line and run game both improved.
Hopefully, it works in the team’s favor and they can get back to their winning ways. Even so, the Steelers fanbase is in turmoil regarding the decision to keep Matt Canada.
Coordinators with better offensive rankings got fired this year lol this team is such a joke. Hope Tomlin and Canada proves us wrong but it’s hard to see that happening.

This guy is over the ownership group.
Dear God.
They apparently don’t care about championships anymore!
Dan Rooney wouldn’t let this happen!
Art2 doesn’t really care.

If you’re looking for a stable job, the Steelers organization is the where to go. That’s especially true considering the team has only had four head coaches in 1966.
I wanna work for the Steelers… Seems impossible to get fired.

So, as you can see, Pittsburgh fans are basically slamming their heads into the wall over this decision. Maybe it plays out, or maybe it doesn’t. But Steelers Nation certainly isn’t optimistic about next season.
