Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is currently in the midst of one of the worst seasons of his NFL career.

Prescott, who is in his seventh season in the league and has mad two Pro Bowl appearances, has thrown career-high 15 interceptions with just 23 touchdowns in 12 stars.

Still though, the Dallas Cowboys went 12-5 in the regular season and enter Monday night’s NFL Wild Card game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as 3-point favorites.

The Cowboys are looking for their first playoff win since 2016 and just their second under Prescott. And the Dallas QB’s struggles have come much to the delight of noted Cowboys hater Stephen A. Smith.

Smith and ESPN First Take regular Michael Irvin have gone back and forth about the Cowboys and Prescott all season long. But now Smith is taking things to the next level by targeting Prescott’s father, Nathaniel, ahead of Monday night’s contest.

Stephen A. Smith Tells Dak Prescott’s Dad His Son Will Lose Against Tampa Bay

First Take was in Tampa on Monday ahead of the Cowboys-Bucs game and fans of both teams were in attendance. Among those fans were the fathers of both Prescott and Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott. When Smith noticed this, he didn’t hold back.

“The pops, they can’t play for them. You can’t run from them, Mr. Elliott. You can’t pass for Prescott, Mr. Prescott,” he began. “You can’t do it. You can’t do it. And Michael Irvin want(s) to stand up, so allow me to do the same.

“Let me tell y’all something. Let me tell you something right now. Dak Prescott is throwing two interceptions tonight…and in the end, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will prevail, 31-29.”

Both Prescott and Elliott’s fathers seemed to take Smith’s gimmick in stride. But not everyone else did.

Ultimately, time will tell whether he’s right or whether it will be Irvin celebrating on Tuesday morning’s episode.
